The collaboration of the Armed Forces in support of the population affected by the DANA that devastated the province of Valencia at the end of November is the cover story of number 17 of the English edition of the Revista Española de Defensa. It reports on the work carried out by 8,500 troops and more than 2,000 means of aid to help the affected areas return to normal. The information is complemented by an article by the Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles.
This issue also includes the deployment in Slovakia, where Spain is leading a multinational NATO brigade on the eastern flank for the first time.
